Kitgrid Studio Template License

Version 1.0, September 2026

The short version

You bought a license to use this kit in your own business.
Use it as often as you like, on as many of your business's computers as you like, and change it however you want.
Don't resell it, share it with other businesses, give it away, or upload it to any template site.
The estimates, invoices and reports you make with it are yours.
The kit comes as is. Check your numbers. It isn't tax, legal or accounting advice.

The full terms below control if anything in this summary seems different.

1. Who this license is between

This license is between Wimbish Technology Group LLC, a New York limited liability company that runs the Kitgrid Studio brand ("we", "us"), and the person or business that bought the kit ("you"). If you bought on behalf of a business, the business is the licensee.

2. What's covered

"Template" means the spreadsheet files, how-to PDF, Google Sheets copy, and any updates we provide for the kit you bought.

3. What you may do

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

Use the Template for the internal work of your own business, with no limit on the number of jobs, estimates or uses.
Install and store it on any devices and accounts your business controls.
Let your owners, employees and contractors use it, but only to do work for your business.
Change, customize and extend it any way you like (formulas, layout, categories, branding) for your own business use.
Make backup copies.

4. What you may not do

You may not, whether the Template is changed or unchanged:

Sell, resell, sublicense, rent or lend it.
Share, give away or distribute the Template files to anyone outside your business.
Upload or list it on any template marketplace, file sharing site, store, or public website or folder.
Offer it, or a close copy of it, as your own product, template or course material.
Remove the copyright notices from the Template files.

5. What you make is yours

Estimates, bids, invoices, change orders, reports, printouts and PDFs you create with the Template ("Outputs") belong to you. You may send Outputs to clients, lenders, your accountant and anyone else. Share Outputs as printouts or PDFs rather than sending the working Template file outside your business. You may share your working file with your own accountant or bookkeeper for your business's records.

6. Ownership

We own the Template and all rights in it. You own the license described here, not the Template itself. Any rights we don't expressly grant are reserved.

7. Not advice

The Template is a calculation tool. It is not tax, legal, accounting, engineering, financial or code-compliance advice. Sample data and default rates are examples only. You're responsible for your inputs, for checking results, and for the prices and decisions you make.

8. No warranty

THE TEMPLATE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. We don't promise that the Template is error free or will work with every version of every spreadsheet program. If a file doesn't work, contact us and we'll try to fix it.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, UNDERPRICED OR LOST BIDS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE TEMPLATE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE TEMPLATE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Ending the license

This license lasts until it ends. It ends automatically if you break Section 4. When it ends, stop using the Template and delete your copies. Outputs you already made stay yours. Sections 5 through 11 survive.

11. General

This license is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
If any part of this license can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Refunds are covered by our separate refund policy and by the rules of the platform you bought from (Etsy or Gumroad).
We may update this license for future purchases. The version you bought under keeps applying to your purchase.
